Watch: The Doors Trailer of When You Are Strange, coming out this May narrated by Johnny Depp. The film will take you behind the scenes of the band’s formation and Jim Morrison’s death.
Looks awesome, I think Depp is the perfect choice for narrator. A couple of years ago, the manager to a club in France, The Rock and Roll Circus, came out and finally talked about the way Morrison really died. It was believed that he died at home in his bath of “natural causes” and some people believe that he faked his own death. Well when these witnesses talked they sang a different tune.. the story they had, which I believe to be the truth, was that he went to this club in France (the Rock and Roll Circus) to pick up some drugs from these two well known, dangerous drug dealers. He tried the stuff in the bathroom and died of an OD. These two drug dealers who were also brothers, made everyone keep their mouths shut and brought him back to his house and placed him in his bath tub. You can get the full details about it here. Anyway, I wonder which cause of death the documentary will focus on.
